Fresh out the womb

Salvation

The crucifixion

Of the cruel cost off living

Would I dash for the tube

Despite the calls

To mind the doors

Would I choose security

Over purpose?

Or would it be fulfilment

Over wages?

It’s the question of the ages

Dressed in the robes
