I’m grateful for the sun

Because it shows me that life’s worth living

I’m grateful for the sun

Because it reignites the fire burning within

I’m grateful for the sun

Because its shine

Means it’s that time:

When day bleeds into night

And into day again

When plenty enjoyment Dey

And never ends

I’m grateful for the sun

Because it reveals my true complexion

Suppressed by the bitter Babylon breeze

I’m grateful for the sun

Because it puts me at ease

By reminding my body of a home

My mind hasn’t experienced yet

I’m grateful for the sun

Because it’s the key to life

I’m grateful for the sun

Because it makes me feel alive
